Administration

Functionality available from the Admin tab enables you to manage users and roles, view currently logged-in users, see information about the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications application, and configure settings for FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications components.

Some of the pages under the Admin tab enable you to view system information and the database connection, and to configure the behavior of FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications. Depending on the permissions that have been granted through roles, a user may see the System Configuration and System Information sections under the Admin tab.

Section	Description
Users	Enables you to view, add, and manage users; and to view, add, and manage domains.
Roles	Lists the default (system) roles that are provided; enables you to add, modify, and manage non-system roles.
Access Rights	Access rights determine which FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications users are able to view and manage information pertaining to specific license servers and FlexNet Agents.
System Information	Provides information about the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications system, including versions and build numbers, location of the license file, environment and database information, and information about Java VM memory. From this tab, you can also view logs for FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications and the Reporting module.
System Configuration	Enables you to configure the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications application and user interface for your enterprise.
