Agent Access Rights

Agent access rights provide individual FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin users with rights to view information and manage specified FlexNet Agents. The Agent Access Rights Management page enables you to see a list of the FlexNet Agents that are registered with FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications and the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications users who have access rights for each agent.

When a FlexNet Agent starts up and is registered with FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin, the FlexNet Agent is automatically associated with all FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications users who have been assigned the Super Administrator role. This means that every user who has the Super Administrator role at the time FlexNet Agent is registered will have access rights to information about that FlexNet Agent.

Agent access rights work in conjunction with alert subscription to determine which alerts are displayed when a particular FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications user is signed into the web application.
