Editing Agent Access Rights

Users assigned a role with the View and Manage Agent Access Rights permission can edit and define agent access rights.

To change access rights for a particular FlexNet Agent:

1. Start FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin.
   • To start Admin from the command line, navigate to the Admin installation location, then type the command: flexnet start
   • If you configured Admin to run as a Windows service, you can start the service from the Windows Services pane.
2. Open a supported web browser and sign in to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications.
3. From the Admin tab, under Access Rights , click Agent Access to open the Agent Access Rights Management page.
4. Click a FlexNet Agent name link to display the Edit Agent Access Rights page.
5. Add or remove users by selecting the user name and clicking the appropriate arrow. Users listed in the Selected Users box (on the right) are able to view information about the FlexNet Agent using the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications web interface.
6. Click Save.
