License Server Administrative Access

FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin enables you to specify access to license servers based on the administrative needs of various users. You group license servers into license server administrative sets, then associate those sets with FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin users.

Users have access only to the information that pertains to the license servers in the License Server Administrative Set with which they are associated. For example:

  • The information displayed using the Dashboard, Servers, Licenses and Activity tabs will pertain only to the license servers for which the user has access.
  • License Server access rights work in conjunction with alert subscription to determine which alerts are displayed when a particular FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin user is signed in.

You can group one or many license servers in a license server administrative set. There is no limit to the number of license servers in a set.
