FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Log File
Messages from FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications, including some error messages caused by problems in other components, are written to the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications application log files. These are the most useful log files and are the first places to look if there are problems starting or running FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications.
The maximum level of detail for the messages logged in flexnet.log
can be specified in two ways:
- Through the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Configurator for messages written before FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications starts.
- Through the Web application in the FlexNet Application Logging Level field in Administer Manager | System Configuration | FlexNet Platform Server for messages written by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications after it starts.
