Deleting Software Producers

Deleting a software producer from FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications also affects the following related data:

• All contact information for personnel associated with the software producer are deleted.

• All products made by the software producer are deleted.

• Vendor daemons used to serve feature licenses to users of products made by the software producer are either disassociated or deleted.

  • If there was feature usage from the vendor daemon, the vendor daemon is disassociated from the software producer.
  • If there was no feature usage for a vendor daemon that was added manually, the vendor daemon is deleted.

To delete software producers:

1. From the Planner tab, under Software Producers , click Software Producers .
2. Select the check box in front of the software producers you want to delete, click Delete, then click OK in the confirmation dialog.
