FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting Directory Structure

The following table lists the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting directory structure:

reporting_install_directoryDirectory, specified during installation, in which FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting was installed. Contains flexnet script.
configContains the site\.properties file, a license directory into which the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting license is copied and a driver directory into which a non-bundled JDBC driver is copied during installation.
customContains customized versions of files in a directory structure that mimics the structure of the site directory. When FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting starts, the files from this directory are copied into the site directory, augmenting or replacing existing files. This directory and its subdirectories must be created as needed.
dataContains enterprise data. This directory is preserved when FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting is reconfigured or uninstalled.
importcacheTemporary space for report log imports, created when the first report log is imported.

licContains subdirectories with copies of the license files for the license servers managed by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting.
optContains subdirectories with copies of the options files for vendor daemons managed by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting.

outputContains output files for usage reports generated through FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting.
jvmFiles for the bundled Java Virtual Machine.
logsContains all of the log files generated by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting.
releaseContains files for individual modules installed with FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting, before they are configured for running at your enterprise. Files in the release directory can be used to recover site directory files that have been overwritten by customized files.
siteFlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting runs from this directory. Contains merged and configured versions of the installed FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting files. This directory is re-created from files in the release and config directories when FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting is reconfigured using the flexnet site command.
uninstallerFiles for the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting uninstaller—Run the uninstaller from the uninstaller/flexnet directory.
