Stopping the Reporting Server

The way in which you stop the Reporting server depends upon the platform on which it is running.

UNIX Platforms​

If you started the Reporting server with the UNIX service script, stop it with the following service script (using whatever name you gave the script in Step of the task for starting Reporting using the UNIX service script:

\<flexnet_reporting-service\> stop

Windows Platforms​

  • If you started Reporting as a Windows service, stop the service through Administrative Tools.

  • If you started it from the command line, open a different Command prompt from that used to start it, change to the reporting_install_directory, and type the command: flexnet stop
