Resolved Issues
The following issues were resolved in the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications 2025 R1 release:
Issue Number | Description |
---|---|
IOK-1329044 | Users were unable to edit license files through the License File Summary tab. After navigating to Licenses > License File Summary, clicking Edit on a license file, making changes, and clicking Save, the page would fail to load, preventing the update from being applied. This issue has been resolved in the 2025 R1 release. |
IOK-1317239 | Addressed Apache Struts vulnerability CVE-2024-53677 by upgrading Apache Struts from version 2.5.33 to version 6.7.0 and implemented the new file upload mechanism (Action File Upload Interceptor). Applications still using the old file upload mechanism (FileUploadInterceptor) are vulnerable to this attack. This change is a preventative measure and does not impact user experience or product functionality. |
IOK-1014978 | On the Agent Summary page, the Expand All, Collapse All, and individual navigation triangles for agents were non-functional. As a result, users were unable to expand or collapse the list of license servers associated with each agent. This issue has been resolved in the 2025 R1 release. |
IOK-1345830 | After successfully logging into the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Web UI using an Active Directory (AD) user from a newly created AD group, the following issues were encountered: Navigating to the Show Users tab and clicking on any user resulted in an error. Accessing the Show Groups page and selecting a specific group also triggered an error. These errors were not logged in the flexnet.log file, even with debug logging enabled, making troubleshooting difficult. This issue has been resolved in the 2025 R1 release. |
IOK-1309271 | During aggregation, the process intermittently failed with the following error message: Error creating new leaf named LIYANG. Check for conflicts in the organization. This issue has been resolved in the 2025 R1 release. |
IOK-1084195 | LDAP users experienced repeated connection errors when navigating between reporting modules in the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Web UI. When an LDAP user accessed the Operational Dashboard, they were logged in successfully. However, upon navigating to Cognos Reporting, two connection errors appeared due to the URL or connection being refused. After acknowledging the errors, the user was eventually logged into Cognos. If the user then navigated away from Cognos and returned, the same two errors would reappear. This issue did not affect FlexNet users, who were able to access both dashboards seamlessly without being prompted for credentials or encountering errors. This issue has been resolved in the 2025 R1 release. |
