Upgrade Procedures
Upgrading to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications 2025 R1 requires that you start with FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications 15.8 or later.
You can install FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications 2025 R1 as an upgrade using your existing hardware. However, for optimal performance, refer to the specifications described in System Requirements.

Please contact Flexera Support if you need to upgrade from a version of FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications that is earlier than 15.3.
FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications 2025 R1 does not support the use of FlexNet Agents before 5.16. It is strongly recommended that you migrate all your agents to version 5.16 before upgrading the Manager. Any FlexNet Agents that are not migrated before upgrading will be unable to communicate with FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications 2025 R1 until they have been migrated.
