Viewing Database-Configuration Information
The connection between the FlexNet Platform Server and the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications database is configured using the FlexNet Configurator, not through the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications application. However, you can view the database settings using the Assign Cognos Roles page.
To view database-configuration information:
From the Admin tab, under System Information :
- Click System Information to view database-configuration information for the Admin database.
- Click Reporting System Information to view database-configuration information for the Reporting database.

| Database Type | Depends on the application | The type of database to which the FlexNet Platform Server connects. |
| FlexNet DB URL | Depends on database type | The FlexNet Platform Server connects to the database using this JDBC URL. |
| FlexNet DB User | flexnet or specify | The FlexNet Platform Server connects to the database as this user. |
