Export and import classic report configurations

This release introduces a new Export button in the Report Configurations UI of FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications.

This functionality is especially useful for customers managing hundreds of report configurations across multiple FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications instances, such as development, testing, and production environments. With the new export and import classic report configurations capability, users can easily replicate report configurations across multiple instances or back them up during version upgrades.

Key benefits of this new functionality allow you to:

  • Seamlessly transfer report configurations between development, testing, and production environments
  • Export configurations from an older FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications version and import them into a newer version
  • Maintain a backup of report configurations for recovery or auditing purposes.
